Installation environment: Butterfly valves can be used indoors or outdoors, but in corrosive media and areas prone to rusting, corresponding material combinations should be used. For special working conditions, consult Zhongzhi Valve.
Installation location: Installed in a location that is safe to operate and easy to maintain, inspect, and repair.
Surrounding environment: temperature -20 ℃~+70 ℃, humidity below 90% RH. Before installation, it is necessary to first check whether the valve meets the operating requirements based on the nameplate markings on the valve. Note: Butterfly valves do not have the ability to withstand high pressure differential. Do not allow the butterfly valve to open or continue to flow under high pressure differential.
2. Before valve installation
Before installation, please remove impurities such as dirt and scale from the pipeline. Please note during installation that the flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the flow arrow indicated on the valve body.
Align the center of the piping before and after, make the flange interface parallel, and tighten the screws evenly. Be careful not to generate excessive piping stress on the pneumatic butterfly valve on the cylinder control valve.
3. Maintenance precautions
Daily inspection: Check for leaks, abnormal noise, vibrations, etc.
Regular inspection: System components such as valves should be regularly checked for leaks, rust, and jamming, and they should be maintained, cleaned, dusted, and removed from residue.
Disassembly inspection: The valve should undergo a regular disassembly inspection. During the disassembly inspection, the parts should be rinsed again, foreign objects, stains and rust spots should be removed, damaged or severely worn gaskets and fillers should be replaced, and the sealing surface should be corrected. After the inspection, the valve needs to undergo a hydraulic test again, and can only be reused after passing the inspection.
